  • Lors de sa création en 2015, le nouveau canton de Briec comprend 18 communes.
  • Le canton de Briec est formé de communes en provenance de l'ancien canton de Briec (5 communes) ; Châteauneuf-du-Faou (7 communes) et de Pleyben (6 communes).
